Well, not new, but new as far as officially goes. :)

I'm now the Ann Arbor contact for the GLFA and will be working as a ferret
contact & runner. While I probably won't be adopting out ferrets myself, if
you are in the area and have wanted to adopt a rescue ferret instead of
buying a pet store ferret I will probably be able to help you out. As a
ferret contact/runner, I put people who want ferrets or need to get rid of
their ferrets in touch with the closest GLFA shelter, or take the ferrets
myself and take them to the shelters.

I do not do official ferret-sitting service or shelter work. However, right
now I *do* have a rather charming but VERY tiny chocolate MF jill in. She's
about 1 yr old, weighs maybe 1 lb, is good with children and animals (was
raised by a 5 yr old boy in a house full of pets), and doesn't seem to nip
or bite. She has NOT had her shots that I know of.

She will be going to a GLFA shelter soon but if you are interested in her
drop me a line.

Melissa
