Thank you for your lovely compliments, Chere! And as someone who has met
you on a couple of occasions, I can assure the rest of the FML that I know
you have it backwards - I know the hard work you have done yourself.

Andi, yes, I have 3 ferrets which are officially mine - BeBee (BB, for Big
Boy), Sophie and Nellie. But the actual number of ferrets in the house at
any given point varies quite a bit depending on ferret-sitting and vistors.

And while I'm responding to you anyhow, there are many commercial products
to deal with skunk odor but washing in tomato juice is supposedly one of the
best and least expensive solutions. I don't know what product to use to get
rid of the tomato juice smell however.

As to posting more here - probably the biggest regret I have about
moderating the FML is that doing so leaves me a lot less time to actually
post! But now and then I speak up, as many of you know.

In the end, I kind of lump it all together. Many of us do different things
to help "the state of ferrets" in the world and taken all together it's
really quite impressive, I think. I'm amazed at all the effort and talents
that so many of you give for our fuzzbeans... it makes me proud to be
associated even in a small way. (Maybe next we can talk to the federal
government about this little budget problem they're having.... :-))

Bill
