Those old hormones should return to normal usually in 1-2 weeks time.
However the right gland may now be the problem.  Yes, it can look normal
and still over produce the hormones, or it may be larger now (than it was
6 weeks ago) and is now starting to overproduce the hormones.  Thus it is
either time to run the Tenn panel to see if his hormone levels are
elevated or do a second surgery.
