Hi everybody!
Im sitting here right now watching my fuzzbutt(Smokey) run around, pouncing
on everything.  It was just a few minutes ago that he snuck up the couch
and dug his way into a potato bag!My mom saw him and started running around
picking up the potatoes that he had dropped in his attempt to get the
biggest one in the bag!I laughed until tears popped out.  It was only a few
months ago when we had him in the vet's office.  We still dont know what
was wrong with him.  He wouldn't eat or drink.  He was constantly throwing
up.  The vet had to put drip in him, and when they would stick the needle
in him, he would let out a high pitch cry.  I ran out of the room crying,
but quickly returned to hold him in my arms.
 
When we got home, he just stayed in my hands.  I fed him, and watered him,
and gave him the vitamins that he needed.  It was shortly after he got
better that my other ferret,bandit,crossed rainbow bridge.  I was really
heartbroken, and me and Smokey just sat in my room and cried.I know with
all my heart that Smokey knew.  He just sat in my arms and gave me little
kisses,and his eyes seemed to say,"its ok,Bandit is still here with us."
Smokey dreams alot at night, and I know he is dreaming about Bandit.  My
grandparents say that pets dont go to heaven, but I believe with all my
heart that when i go to the pearly gates, all of my family and friends will
be their to greet me.  And right in front of them, will be all my lost pets
running up to me to give me the long awaited hugs and kisses.  Please
everybody, love your little fuzzies while you still can.
