Ringworm - take my word for it, ferrets can get ringworm. I was caring for
2 severely infected 5 week old kittens and a neighbor girl who had held the
kittens accidently brought infected hairs into our home. Several of the
ferrets did get ringworm, most cases were mild but the most severely
infected was Whitney who had insulinoma. It took months to get her clean of
it. I never did get it and learned that most adults are less susceptible
but children are higly susceptible. I did suffer a rash from using straight
bleach to disinfect my bare skin.

Adrenal hairloss - no pattern in our group. The girls had the typical
hairloss, Petey had only a tiny patch on the top of his head, Gizzie a dime
size patch on the side of his neck, and Clyde all over thinning.

48 hours - That is for human consumption. A friend contacted the company
that makes Pedialyte and was told it was still good after 48 hours. All
products are dated and most are good for a bit longer than the expiration
date (milk, chips, etc.).

Hugs to all. tle
