Greetings,
 
I just wanted to let everyone know that I love my ferrets with all of my
heart.  There is Mojo, my first one since I moved to alabama.  There is
Buckie my first rescue from a lady that thought he was a vegetarian, and
There is Noodles.I love noodles with all my heart but I am torn into a
bind I think all young ferret owners experience.  Many of you do not know
my age.  I am 18 and am graduating on the 23rd.  All of my friends are
talking about what they are going to do with their graudation money..."go
on a cruise for senior trip, use for a down payment on a car, buy clothes,
etc." I told them I was going to use every penny I had to pay for adrenal
surgery for Noodles (instead of fixing my p.o.s.  car).  at a price quote
of $600 for her surgery, that will take every penny I have.  Some friends
told me to put her to sleep, and of course i told them how much that hurt
that they could even say that.  Some told me that I should just drop her
off where I got her.  Now why on earth would I take the ferret that i love
with all of my heart, return her where she came from, and make them worry
about the vet bill?  i would NOT do that!  (makes me wonder what type of
friends i have) I was told I needed to use the money to pay for college,
but that can wait.  My conclusion: My ferrets are the only ones that can
love me unconditionally.  I am already working 25-30 hours weekly and I
always find time for my 3 fuzzies.  I am possibly looking at doing another
raffle...(ahh the familiar sound of a trumpet ;)).  Does anyone know of
any way I can possibly raise some $?(besides a starch peanut raffle lol) I
can sew (sort of) hammocks and blankets and sleep sacks.  If anyone has
ANY ideas, i would GREATLY appreciate it.  thank you for listening to me
ramble :()
