Dayna sure has missed her calling.  She's a storyteller and gifted writer.
Thank you, Dayna for sharing your story with us.  I often skip over portions
of the fml that aren't purely informational or anecdotal but your story drew
me in right away.
 
The Gruden's, who run the FACT shelter in Ct., sent me a beautiful copy of
"Rainbow Bridge" on blue wash paper that I framed.  Your story could become
as classic as the Rainbow bridge poem!  I'm going to print out and save a
copy of your story for other animal lovers and ferret owners that I know.
