The first ferret I had was also named Loki and she too delighted in digging
water out of the (cats' ) water bowl.  Since a water bottle wasn't an
option, we purchased a cafeteria tray from a restaurant supply outlet that
was open to the public.  That tray more than paid for itself during the
eight wonderful -- but all too short -- years we had Loki.  Yes, she
continued to play in water throughout her life.
