>Subject: Ontario SPCA seize ferrets

This story could serve as precedence for the local Ohio SPCA or humane
society to step in and seize McKay's ferrets. From the information that
I posted here a few days ago, information that was obtained online at
the animal cruelty laws website, the local ASPCA or Humane Societies in
Ohio have the authority to investigate and/or make arrests in animal
cruelty situations. This link, while not in Ohio, shows that it does
happen. The fact that McKay is a breeder does not exempt him from laws
against animal cruelty, and as I quoted the other day, such laws DO
exist in Ohio. Let's take this to the courts and shut him down for
good, with the help of the local ASPCA and Humane Societies. They can
get into his place take photos and video. They have the authority to
do so if local people file complaints against McKay.
