I am considering adopting a second ferret as a companion for my 12 week old
female from a shelter. I'm not sure if I want do this or not. I would
welcome any stories relating to experiences with shelter ferrets. Are there
any generalizations that can be made about them? I have two rescued
greyhounds who have made wonderful companions. I recommend that process to
anyone. Yet, a former trackdog is not the same as the typical family black
lab and never will be, due to their upbringing. What can I expect from a
rescued ferret?
