I spotted a ferret in the late news last night, in Melbourne, Australia.

The ferret was caught by a man rescuing his dog (husky-type) from the
ferret. The man took the ferret to a nearby police station. They showed
one of the policemen holding the ferret and saying he doesn't bite, which
was nice to here, but then they also showed him cringing from a bite to
his arm!

The ferret was reunited with its owner by the end of the day, but only
after another woman came along hoping it was her lost ferret. She got to
talk about how her ferret gets along with her dog.
