My mom has recovered enough to give me confidence enough to return to
Missouri.  I got back late Sunday.  It will take a week or so to wade
through the mail, but rest assured, I will do it.
 
Thanks to all for the kind letters regarding my mom's illness.  Her surgery
went fine, and afterwards, I accused her of having a brain transplant
rather than just a heart bypass because of her increased mental sharpness.
She suggested I try one.
 
Now you know where I got my flip lip from.
