A friend of mine gave me a Lamaze brand baby toy for the ferrets--it's
a roly poly colorful stuffed bat with black-and- white-checkered wings
filled with crinkly stuff, a jingle ball in its belly somewhere, and best
of all no parts that could be chewn off.  I guess the things that make
it a safe and stimulating toy for human babies also make it a safe and
stimulating toy for ferrets.  It is clearly well-loved by my ferrets,
because every time I remove it from under the bed, it is diligently
returned to under the bed as soon as they can figure out where I put
it :-)
