Hi all,

Next Tuesday (May 7) our 4 1/2 year old Jake will have Adrenal Surgery.
This will be the first surgery ever for us as ferret parents. There was a
post a week or two ago from someone asking for answers about what happens
post-surgery. Could you kindly please send that info my way? What should
we bring with us to the vets office? Just his travel carrier, or the sick
cage? Should we use newspaper in place of litter? His surgery is on
Tuesday. We have 3 other ferrets; when can they all play together again?
That Saturday we were hoping to go to my Mom's for the night for Mother's
Day. Do we need to change those plans?

Also, we haven't talked to the vet yet about what to do pre-surgery. What
usually has to be done? Fasting?

I would appreciate you sharing any advice or post-surgery info.

Thanks!
-Eliza

(And thanks again to everyone for making recommendations for a local vet!
You have been so very helpful!)
