Has anyone had a ferret with low calcium, and what did that mean?
Jasmine's bloodwork came back as normal, except she's low in calcium. My
only experience with low calcium was with a cat that was nursing kittens.
Easily fixed, but perplexing. Her blood sugar was 87, but she's in for
surgery anyway, and the pancreas will be checked out. The blood was sent
out to be tested, so that might account for it. Keep the good thoughts
going on Friday, the vet had to reschedule. I think she's getting bored
with all the cuddles and kissing.
