Yesterday while enjoying the cool morning air in my gazebo, and watering
the back yard, I felt the familiar scrabbling of a ferret climbing up my
leg!!  I nearly keeled over when I saw my own little grabby hands !!  He
was SUPPOSED to be safely in his cage asleep with my other 3 !!
 
I about had a heart attack!!  Had I left the cage open with out closing
the ferret barrier ?  If they get into the kitchen they were free!!!
I ran into the house, only to find the other ferrets asleep in their
cage ..  My little darling had FORCED his way out of the cage door, NOW
I also put a weight on the top of the door also!!  I leave the ferrets
out most of the day , But ONLY with the barrier up, they can use the cat
door way to well..
