Everything was so very Wilber today at the bridge on this pretty spring
day. Yeah, a boy named Wilber slid up the rainbow bands to the bridge
with a content smile on his face. His eyes were just as bright and
sparkly as could be. He has such a personality this boy, it just beams.

He shook off the colors on his hiney from the rainbow, and admired his
pretty wings when I told him that we had to go find Mojo. He doddled
for a minute when I said, "You wanna sleepin' buddy don't ya?" He got
such a silly grin on his face when I said that. But he said he wanted
to learn how to fly first before we searched for Mojo. He said he'd be
embarrassed if he couldn't keep up. So we trotted through the meadow of
wild flowers to get to an open area to fly. There were tons of ferrets
practicing, taking lessons, and just watching too. A little white minx
was teaching that day. She and I took Wilber aside, and taught him how
to groom his pretty wings, and how to prepare himself for flight. But he
was a natural at it. He understood right off, that to fly you just had
to lighten your thoughts, think happy, take a deep breath, and push with
your heart. Once he was off, he was fine. He seemed to be part of the
air and everything around him. That makes him a great flyer. He sure
enjoyed blowing holes right through those clouds, and then peeping back
through them at us. I called him down and told him we should meet up
with his friend though. He has an eternity to fly.

With his wings all groomed, he pranced about next to me as proud as can
be. I had to keep pointing out the sites to him because he was focused
on finding Mojo. He said that he took up a lot of time flying and that
he couldn't wait to fly with Mojo. I thought he had plenty of time to
snorkel through the daisy's, chase falling stars, and pick foamy fries
later. It was more important that we reached Mojo so he had a buddy to
do those things with.

I had a hunch where Mojo was that day. I took Wilber to the dirt fields.
There was dirt mountain, smelly stumps, holes, tunnels, and endless dirty
ferrets. We both shouted out Mojo's name. And up popped a ferrets face
with a tiny dirt pile on top of their head. That's when I lost Wilber.
That boy loves dirt. He sure can make that dirt fly when he digs. But
he sure was careful to not let that dirt get on his pretty wings. Lol.
That'll change. He won't be able to resist following Mojo through those
tunnels. They'll come clean though when they dive bomb those clouds and
make cloud tunnels though.
