For the little ferrets,and the needful ones.
 
A little ferret walks among the stars,
Leaving glowing paw prints where ere she strays.
As she looks down upon the one she remembers,
A sadness washes over her,
For love shared,and thought lost.
Love once created,stays where it is fated.
It envelopes the heart and warms the spirit.
Ne'er does it go away.
 
A little ferret walked among us,
Seeking the one who had need of her,
Leaving golden pools of light when she stepped.
"I am here,she said,Inside your heart.
Can you not feel me there?"
The needful one felt the truth,
And while the loss was still there,
Knew the little one would be safe and happy,
Till their lifelines crossed again.
 
A little ferret walks among the stars,
But the best part of her she leaves behind,
The love she shared with one who was so kind.
Can you not feel her there?
