well, since my post, many people have emailed me and thanks to all for
your concern and your speedy-gonzalzness. i got a whole shwack of ideas
and i appreciate them all. Im not sure if Im going to rush him to the vet
yet. Hes a young boy that I think can get through anything (pride again?).
I just had him at the vet for a check up about a week ago and the vet gave
him a clean bill of health. he also had a check up when he was at the
shelter i got him from, so if he really was sick with anything, i would
think that two professional opinions would be enough. am i being naive
on this one?

my guess so far from the responses i got is that Pechu is either allergic
to something in my room, which is a total possibility, because Im
definately allergic to stuff in my room. Or, hes doing it for attention.
Just in case, if he does have something stuck in his throat, Im going to
start giving him some Laxatone. I also got a suggestion for Benadryl.
Does anyone know where I can get this? If the hacking becomes really bad,
and it just cant be allergies or a hairball (this time of year?), then off
to the vet.

Thanks a lot for everyone who responded. Youre all great, you really are :)
