Cleaning Blackheads
I, too have a ferret who tail is full of blackheads (precisely where there
is some hairloss on the tail's underside).  I haven't yet started the
recommended treatment, but here is what my Vet recommended.  Try either
using hibatane (ask you local vet for some) OR selsan Blue (yes, the
dandruff shampoo!).  They are antibacterial and antifungal.  Make sure to
rinse the tail totally clean of the selsun blue so they don't ingest any
later....let me know if you have any luck and I'll let you know which works
for me
