You may want to try another meat besides chicken. I have an older
ferret who had the same poo cycle as you've described. Turns out she's
allergic to chicken, duck (and some other stuff). For her, venison and
rabbit both work well. I use the Evo 95% venison (for cats) and the
Evanger's 100% rabbit (for dogs). She now eats it mixed with kibble
mush which currently is Totally Ferret turkey, venison, lamb mixed
with a little Orijen or Evo (small bites) red meat dog kibble. I leave
the TF,TVL kibble out for free feeding.
