Ok, this is what I do, some people will not agree but here it goes. A long
time ago, I read in some ferret book that you can get all the shedding fur
off by "plucking them like a chicken". Sounds hideous I know. But for me
it works. I used to do it when I gave them a bath but I found its MUCH
easier when they are all nice and dry. I hold them securely, you can
scruff them too and grab a bunch of fur and pull in the opposite direction
the fur is growing and it comes out in huge clumps. This does NOT take me
long to do at all and I do it outside in my backyard so its not a mess in
the house.

I feel doing this helps prevent hairballs and gets the shedding all over
with for me and the fuzzy.
