me, calling husband at work:
"you forgot to leave your paycheck, I was going to the bank today"
 
husband: "put it on the table by your chair"
 
me: "nope, not there"
 
husband, after checking pockets, wallet
" I remember putting it on the table"
 
me: "Maybe it's in the truck"?
 
husband, after checking truck,
" I absolutely remember it on the table, (insert irritated voice here)
did you LOOK"?
