Just a follow up note on a disastrous situation.  You may remember the
incident of a ferret that was housed in a basket ball sized ball, no food,
no water and full of poop in there.  Marlene Blackburn of Richmond Ferret
Rescue Leabue took the animal in and has kept this whole jill so far.  She
is doing fine, just perfectly fine, has gained much weight, plays and dooks
like nothing happened.  She still does not like other ferrets but otherwise
is a fully normal fert.
 
Just a note of good news.
