You might try giving Pepita a larger food bowl.  Pebbles had the same
problem turns out that she just likes to sleep in the food bowl sometimes,
especially if she gets in a tiff with one of the others.  She will actually
lay in it and eat herself to sleep sometimes (got to work on that, not very
good for her teeth).  The others have just learned to eat around her.
