(The following is IMHO.... ONLY! Please, if I'm wrong, TELL ME!!!)

Chuck, you asked about food for the rugrats. So far, Bubba's quite taken
with the L'Avian, and eats it well. But he has had problems with the "hind
quarter dragging" mentioned several times here. The fix for us is a half a
boiled egg about once a week. Seems to do the trick nicely. (Yes we've had
him to the vet. She can't find anything wrong. Blood tests, X-rays, etc.
She and I also talked to Dr. Williams.)

That said, we bought some Iams kitten food. It's higher in protein (34% vs
32%, I think) and higher in fat (22% vs 20%), and he's been on this for
almost a week. MAN!!! Talk about a ball of energy! No dragging, or
stumbling (sp?). I've been mixing it about half and half with L'Avain, and
he's eating it. (But then he'll try almost anything I set in front of him.)

I don't know if 2% protien and 2% fat is enough to make the difference we're
seeing, but anything that works..........

Just my $.02, folks.
