I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who responded about Bat. Two days
after I posted about his hardened arteries, and when the extensive tests
were done, we found out he didn't have a heart problem but had two large
tumors. One in his lymph area (really big) and one on his spleen. Bat
died today at noon, exactly three weeks after he got sick. He was only
one and a half years old. Oddly enough, he didn't die from the tumors but
because of extreme loss of weight and refusing to eat for the first five
days. He later at puree'd chicken but couldn't hold on. I was shocked
by how fast the tumors came and took his life. His xrays six months ago
showed nothing. I gave his body to the vet to research what went wrong and
to familiarized himself in more detail about the ferret anatomy. (Please
don't get me wrong, he is an excellent doctor, but not a ferret specialist)
In Japan, there is only one ferret specialist and he lives about 4 hours
and $600 dollars away from me.

Thanks again.
