i have a friend that lost 13 ferrets in her house fire!  she wasn't home
when the fire broke out!  my fuzzies where saved by a stainless steel
cage and litter box back in 97.  stainless gets hot but doesn't burn or
melt.  we all need to make sure that that is something that could happen
and prepare for it!my ferrets were carried out of the fire wet and
huddled up in there litter box but they were safe!  the only problem my
fuzzies had was a little bit of smoke in there lungs but they where all
alive!  as responsable owned people of ferrets it is our responsability
to make sure they are always safe!  not all cages can save a ferret in a
fire but some will !  please make sure they are safe when you are home or
away!  my friend is devistated!  it is a good feeling to know they are
safe in all cases!
