As many of you know, Silver is an abused ferret that I took in last
summer. He is also a featured fuzzy on the summer magnet. He's the guy
sitting contently atop the beach ball looking very much like a baby harp
seal. His name just didn't say enough about him and try as I might I
just haven't been able to come up with a permanent name that would truly
do this fuzzy justice.

Yesterday I was vegging out after having a tooth pulled. Waiting around
for six hours to be dentally tortured would have been a whole lot worse
had it not been for the good company I had in the waiting room....and the
eggs I crocheted while I waited. Silver decided that he was the official
entertainment committee as I recovered. In my codeine induced trance I
watched as he stole a bag of 40 plastic eggs scattering them around the
floor. I cracked up as I watched his blubbery little body leap from the
hassock onto the edge of my supply box, back legs going a mile a minute
as he struggled to pull himself up and over. Alas, he could not pull off
one chin up. Not to be discouraged, he took another leap landing square
in the middle of the box. He dooked and strutted across the living room
trampling over a goody bowl. I assume walking around it would have been
much too easy. That's when it came to me. Silver's new, full name.
Incorporating his current name, which I wouldn't leave out since he has
become accustomed to it, his new name was born. Silver Vanilla Flopsy
Fuzzilla. Tokyo is not safe tonight.

Blessings to all of you for a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
Give your fuzzys extra kisses from us today!
