Hi all,

I am in need of ferret vets in Florida who dont charge an arm and a leg
for adrenal surgery.

We have four who need the adrenal surgery and our regular vet (who is
awesome with ferrets) charges $850 for adrenal surgery. I called the Vet
School at U of F Gainesville today and was disappointed by the person's
attitude who I talked to as well as the fact that she couldnt even tell
me how much they charge for adrenal surgery. I am at least 4 hours away
from Gainesville and am not keen on making the trip up there for nothing.

So,anyone know of vets in Florida (as close to the Tampa Bay area as
possible, but will travel) and what they charge (ballpark figure) for
adrenal surgery?

Also, our ferret Egan has lost both of her cagemates in less than two
weeks. I didnt want anymore ferrets once they started passing away,
but I also know of her need for companionship and the impossibility
of putting her in with our other 5. So far we have put in
requests/applications for Yodas House in Tampa and Ferrets in Limbo in
Ft Myers but are wondering if anyone on here knows of a ferret (at least
3-4 years of age) who is good with other ferrets, somewhat playful and
needs a good home? Again, we would be willing to travel.

Thanks in advance!
