Hi group! My name is Kathy Tyler, and I am new to this group, and also
going to be new to being a ferret "Mom"! This afternoon I am going to the
Pet Shop to pick up my beloved "Willow" who I had on law-a-way there along
with her new 48" high cage I am also getting for her! She is a sable
colored, spade, descented, 3 month old female.

I can't wait to get her home!

I have been doing a lot of "re-search" on the Internet, Ferret Magazines,
and I bought a book on Ferrets called

"A Practical Guide To Ferret Care" by Deborah Jeans, and read the whole
book in one evening! LOL

I have to agree with that other gal in the group that said that "Ferret
people" also love other animals too!

I am a Foundation Quarter Horse breeder/sales,and have (7) Quarter
Horses,(2)indoor smaller dogs,(3) outdoor bigger dogs, (3)indoor Manx
cats, a fish Aquarium with a big Oscar fish in it, and several outdoor
barn cats!

Both my husband Stan, and myself LOVE animals of all kinds! :)

Actually "Willow" is my Christmas present from my hubby!

I have always wanted to get a Ferret, because I think they are so cute,
and funny to watch. I loved them in the movie "The Beast Master"! Any
of you see that movie?

They were so smart, and did some real cute, amazing things in that movie!
I cried when the one little Ferret fell in the volcano trying to save his
beloved owner, and perished.

Anyway, if any of you have a "tips", or information about Ferrets you'd
like to share with me, please do! Thanks!

Kathy Tyler
