Hi. I used to post a phone number for a Texas pharmacy (Good's) that sold
Proglycem very inexpensively in comparison to what it normally costs.
Unfortunately Good's now charges as much as anyone else, though they're
very nice and I would recommend them for mail order prescriptions (Ernest
is the pharmacist I deal with). I recently noticed some listings for
places to look for Proglycem at lower cost on Michael Janke's excellent
ferret health list. Check out <http://www.miamiferret.org/fhc>.

We are using Proglycem again so if you learn anything I'd love to hear of
it. The going rate for a commercial bottle of it now is about $150. I
recently got a half bottle for $70 at a local pharmacy. I was in a hurry
and didn't have time to check out the info on Michael's site. Just FYI, I
always ask for the blue tops with a flip up cap and syringe that fits in
the hole - makes dispensing very easy. Lynn
