Hi all . . .
 
I was listening to the sit-com "Friends" at work last night--Thursday (I key
mail for the USPS) and ferrets were mentioned.  Not particularly positively
mentioned, but mentioned all the same.  It was a rerun of the first show, I
think.  Chandler was interviewing guys looking for a roommate, and the
"friends" asked him if he'd found anyone yet.  And he said no, there was
"this guy" (I can't remember what was wrong with that one) "and then there
was the guy with the ferrets, and I do mean ferrets, as in plural." And they
made it sound like such a universally "bad" thing, like how could you live
with FERRETS?  that I laughed out loud, thinking, well, I know (figuratively
speaking) LOTS of people who live with ferrets.
 
Anyway, I thought it was funny.
