My vets had given a low dose of prednisone to quiet it down and changed
their diet. I cannot remember which Hills Prescription diet I used
though. I believe it was K/D kibble softened with water overnight,
mixed with K/D canned and a jar of lamb baby food all blended in
blender with water till a thickened gravy or soup consistancy and
served warm. Keep remaining gravy refrigerated and use within 2-3 days
or it goes sour. It may take a lot of finger feeding to get him to
like it. Hope this helps.
