About three and a half years ago my boyfriend bought a black-eyed white in a
mall pet shop in Cleveland, Ohio. Of course, we had no idea that he was
rare. Since then we have been looking all over for another one. He is NOT
a Marshalls farm ferret. I called Marshall farms about a year ago to see if
I could find one for a friend of mine. I told the guy on the phone I had
one. He was amazed and said they are very rare. He said that it is hard to
get Black-eyed whites. He mentioned that out of 10,000 ferrets born, 1 is a
black-eyed white. He said that I might as well forget getting one for my
friend. I kind of had the impression that I was talking to one of the sales
people that sells the Marshall Farm products.
