its late here and i cannot sleep.... tonight while walking from the bathroom
i accidentally stepped on one of our new ferrets... Key. And she died
tonight at the animal emergency clinic. She died because of shock and
internal bleeding. I stepped on here... I didnt see her in the darkened
bedroom.... she went into shock after i stepped on her.... and now... my
roomie is heart broken.... and me... im numb now.... and i fear sorta about
what will happen.... tomorrow we're off to the vet so one of he other ferets
can be put under so a blood panel can be done because Arizona is either
under-weight because of old age or because she could have adrenal disease or
pancreatic cancer..... how do i deal with another one of the newly adopted
ferrets dying.... and how do i deal with my guilt over what happened... how?
