Back in late November I unexpectedly lost one of my four fuzzies. Her
brother took it very hard at first and had normal behavior. In early
February I lost another fuzzy to multiple problems. I have a third ferret
with insulinoma and one who is very healthy. Since the loss of my second
fuzzy, my two remaining will not always use the litter pan in their cage.
Up until the losses of the girls, the boys were fine. Now the boys only
use the litter pan when they want to, instead they poo on their blanket.
I have tried removing the blanket (they only mess in the bottom of the
cage), cleaning the entire cage, and putting ferrettone or treats on the
blanket so that they won't use it. Nothing is working and I am ready to
lose my mind. Other than this their behavior is normal. Does anybody
have any ideas on how this can be solved.

Feel free to e-mail me directly if you would like at [log in to unmask]

Thank you all for your help. Love and good health to your fuzzies.

Laura
