Just so you can sleep soundly, (I forgot who posted about this) It's not
like I give my fert an apple and loaf of bread for dinner!  I'll give him
a crouton sized peice of bread when Zack gets a sandwich or toast, if I
don't he'll just help himself to my sons!  And as for the apple, it's
pretty chokable for children too, that's why it's cut smal and both my
boys 9furry and otherwise) chew real good!  These are occasional treats,
not staple diet!
