First off, CONGRADULATIONS all you folks and fuzzies in MA! You fought a
long, hard fight but victory is yours (ours). Look out CA. Here we come.

Debi - way to go, girl. Keep us posted; just make sure that you don't get
into trouble with those 'objects' you have stashed in your apartment for
defense. Remember that you have the law on your side as well as a whole
bunch of fuzzy folks here on the FML.

Ferrets and cats update: Tater is gaining new feline friends everyday. Woden
is his bestest buddy in the world and Thor has gone from stark terror and
indignation to being one of Tater's playmates. The little guy still lives in
our bedroom, but he makes daily, supervised (read 'leashed') visits to the
rest of the house. The cats are now just curious about the little varmint
and follow him around. Monster and Boris love to play with Tater's leash.
Boris still thinks that Tater's food tastes better than his own - he doesn't
realize that they are the same. Vincent, who is twelve years old and
extremely cantankerous, will still swat at the little guy. Vincent does not
like to have his constant nap disturbed by anybody, especially by that funny
looking, hyper-active 'kitten' who's moved in. All in all, things are going
pretty smoothly between Tater and his feline cousins. Who woulda thunk it?

The search for Flower, Tater's playmate, is continuing. It should be
obvious that we're serious abot this as we've already picked out a name for
him/her. Things are a little tight financially right now - my ol' back is
taking longer to heal than we thought and we're having to get by on 1/2 pay
on Short Term Disability. If we are not successful in finding a cheap/free
ferret by the time things are going better, we will adopt one of those 'high
dollar' fuzzies that GDFA has rescued.

Guess that's all for now. Christmas dooks to all.

Michael (Paw Paw)
