Dear Ferret Folks-

I am sorry to report that Miss Lily was assisted to the Bridge on Friday
afternoon. Her Lymphoma progressed faster than we had hoped/imagined it
would, and we just had this one, last kind thing we could do for her. I
fully expected her to "outlive" this tractor story I wrote to brighten
up the FML during the inevitable shrinkage it suffers during the Ferret
Symposium each year. She made her own creative input. On her last
morning, she spent her time in a sleepy sack on my lap as I typed away,
remembering so many tractor escapades with Sabrina the Bat Biter, Switch,
and of course Lily, as Lily quietly told me that it was time for her to
go. She was an awesome weasel, and I love the thought of her up in the
sky, with NO 'D' for down!

Ping, of course, now knows how to run the B.
