hind end weakness

I was wondering if anyone knows what (besides insulinoma) hind end
weakness in a ferret can be indicative of.  Jillie's BG is in the normal
range, but she has increasing hind end weakness.  She is almost six, and
I have read that it can be a natural part of old age.  Is anyone familiar
with this?
