I have since been in contact with Tle (whom we all know and love) about this
problem I am having with my neighbor.  We hope it might just be possible to
reason with this person by sending her the ferret rabies information, so I
will try that as soon as I can get my hands on it.  I also will try and get
a copy to both the police chief and the animal control officers.  The police
chief called me and told me that he didn't like it, but small town politics
being what it is... suffice it to say I have been informed that the woman
does indeed have enough pull with the township to do precisely what she said
she will do.
 
I am now entering battle mode..  I ain't going to give in without one HELL
of a fight.  But if I lose this fight, then I will do what is right for the
ferrets, and try to get them to Tle if she can take em.
 
I am not a malicious person by nature... but I will deliberately unlock the
door I hid that side of me behind and let it out to play.  Perhaps this is
not the wisest thing to broadcast over a public medium... but I am sure I
can find small ways to return the favor this neighbor of mine has done.  Oh,
yes... she will rue the day she did whatever she did to get Cayanne to
squauk and Tenaka to bite her.
 
She wants to play hardball?  Fine... she has had the first pitch.  She
hasn't seen what I can throw yet.  I think she will be surprised.
