I really don't have any desire to squabble with people that have a
different view of this commercial. I do however, not feel the need for
those that don't have a problem with the commercial telling those of
us who do, to ligthen up. After all, I am not telling you to change
the way you view and think about things. We are all different and what
bothers some does not bother others. So be it. We all have the right
to voice our opinion in a respectful and responsible manner. While it
seems those that didn't neccessarily mind the commercial, do mind that
some of us took a different view point. I don't believe any of the
opposing outspoken people once chastised anyone that did not find the
commercial offensive or told them to seek a higher moral ground. So
please, can those that don't have a problem with the commercial, not
have a problem with those of us that are archaic in our views and did
not like the commercial.

Personally, I don't like any mis-information about ferrets being
promulgated as so many ferret people spend alot of time and energy
trying to educate the unknowing on the true nature of ferrets. But my
main problem is the unnecessary violence on commercials viewed by young
ages. Children are a big market for the soda companies and I do not see
the Pepsi company only intending this commercial for adults. The movie
this commercial parodies was rated R and not for general audiences. Why
then, should it be allowed 24-7 for all ages??

As for boycotting the product.... aren't commercials meant to persaude
people to buy a product? If so, then this one failed for me.
