Hi Amanda.

Now that Monty has his very own room, nourishing food, fresh water, toys,
blankets, and you are sure that he is not trying to tell you that he is
sick because you have taken him to the vets for an exam and his shots--
all this is done-Yes??????????

All you need now is to play with him so you wear him out and he will sleep
at night. He is about 5 years old and you just got him,and has been
through numerous homes already? So the vet thing is critical--as is
patience. Please tell us what the vet exam showed. At 5 years of age,
he obviously should have had a blood test and x-rays along with booster
rabies and distemper. Is he hyperactive because of the beginning of
adrenal problems?

But for you to sleep with a good conscience after all this has been
done-simply get a sound machine or a fan in your bedroom. It will block
out a 5 year old ferrets scratching at the door as well as a 5 month old.

There are several people in your area who would love your little ferret,
as you know. If you return their E-mails, they will be happy to take
Monty and provide him a loving home with proper care and vet visits and
consistent love in a non-violent home.

It must be hard giving up an entire room in an apartment just to Monty
when you have a son and husband who also need space. That was very nice
of you. With your illness and weakness and suffering from CFS I know
that this must have been exhausting beyond words to have arranged.

Lisette
