I'm fostering a sweet ferret who was just under a pound when she arrived.
So, she is getting duck soup.

When she first got here, she tried to steal the spoon with the duck soup.
Then, she tried to steal the bowl. Finally, she started doing a weird
thing where she kind of stretches out her neck and looks around. I
couldn't figure it out.

Then, last night, I put her and her bowl of duck soup on the floor
(usually we do it on the table), and she started doing it again. But,
this time, since she was on the floor, she would take a mouthful of duck
soup, stretch out her neck and run to her little hiddy hole, and "deposit"
her mouthful of duck soup there. She kept going back and forth. The way
she stretches out her neck, it looks like she is just trying to position
her mouth so that if it drips, it won't get on her fur.

I've seen them hide dry food, but never duck soup. I just thought I'd
share, because she is so cute when she does it... although it is sad that
she feels the need to hide food.

PS-she is now 1lb 3oz and gaining!
