The parent took back the kill order.  Now it is up to a judge.  As far as
Animal Control is concerned, he is mine if a judge doesn't say no.  Keep
you fingers crossed.
 
The lead to the story on Channel 8 here was, custody battle for the
childern, and a custody battle for the ferret.
 
They even talked about the calls they got, as far away as New Zeland.
