Hello.  For those of you who don't know me ... I am the "disgusting,
evil, wicked woman" accused of trying to sell her 3 darling ferrets on
Ebay!
 
First, let me say that it never occurred to me to try and sell my ferrets
on Ebay.  I would however, like to recoup money spent on some of the
supplies.  As for the ferrets, I've had contact with shelters (who don't
want any supplies - in which case, Ebay seems like the best place to
advertise) and I still have running ads in local papers "free to a good
home" because (although I respect what the rescue and shelters are doing
for DISCARDED ferrets...) I don't feel that it is what is best for these
animals.  The lifestyle I've observed is not close to what they are
getting now...and maybe, I'll never find a proper home ... because I am
too picky.  Who knows.  Right now, I am confidant that I will be able
to find them a home that is perfect...and, if the time comes that I can
no longer properly care for them (yes, I agree with one member who said
that it's none of anyone's business ... I could be dying for all you
know)...Then, I would have no choice but to shelter them.
 
For those of you who are trying to get me thrown off of Ebay.... again, I
could be selling all of my possessions because....well, again, it's none
of your business...many people sell things on Ebay...for many reasons.
If you check out my auctions you'll see the Vast Variety of 200 personal
items that I am selling from my home - still listing more everyday.
Whatever the reason, those of you who cast stones...have never walked in
my shoes...some of you may not even live the luxurious lifestyle of my
ferrets who sleep in a comfortable bed (many to choose from and not just
hammocks...), are groomed regularly, take walks etc. etc.  well, my
ferrets have frequently taken trips to Wal-Mart and the local park...they
go through a doggy door to poop in the backyard and come trotting inside
with the dogs faithfully, never leaving their home.  They are remarkably
well trained and were given to me because the people who did so, knew
that we would care for them until it came time to find them a home.  And,
yes, they were aware that a time would come.  The time is arriving and I
am still looking, waiting.  And, yes.... I am guilty of trying to recoup
the money from some of the supplies as I could use the money for my
beautiful daughter who is pictured in my store.  And, yes... I suppose
that I thought I might meet someone who suited my standards to take the
ferrets along the way.  But, they are not for sale on Ebay.  And, I made
the mistake of saying that the sale was contingent on my pets finding a
good home and then decided after the swarm of insulting, deceitful and
nasty letters from some of your members sent directly to my email box
that I could take that off of there because my ferrets, indeed, do not
need the cage.
 
Now, I would like to address one member who said some incredible things
about me in a previous post:
 
I will not grace you with addressing you personally as you did not extend
the same courtesy to me.  But I will share with all of you a response I
sent to one of the members who graciously sent me some copies of what
was being said about me.  It reads as follows:
 
Wow!  I can't believe this.  Actually, I didn't find too many of these
disturbing - but this one!  What LIES this person is telling!  I've
saved every email including the thread from this "Garrison Killer".
 
1. The first email asked if they were old and sick.  I replied no that
they are not sick and gave their ages.
 
2. Second email: He asked if the ferrets come with the lot and I replied
that we were looking for a home.
 
3. Third Email: He then told me that he was from Texas and would be
visiting his sister in Waldorf in a week and would I accept $100 to take
them off of my hands and back to Texas.  Funny thing is, I didn't take
the offer for the simple fact that this sounded SHADY to me and for all
I knew, he was going to dissect them for scientific research!
 
Only AFTER I declined the offer, too polite to say why... he sent me the
links to two shelters.  I never heard from him after that.
 
If I found a family that I knew, after seeing their home and meeting
them, would provide a loving home and promise to contact me directly if
things didn't work out....I'd give them the ferrets and what supplies we
have for free.  This person doesn't know me and AS FAR AS FOLLOW UP'S ..
THEY SENT ME "A" THE LIST OF SHELTERS (which I did checkout by the way)
BUT NEVER CONTACTED ME REGARDING ANY TESTS, FML, THIS KIND FRIEND, OR
ANY LINKS!  LIES ALL LIES!
 
Frankly, I'm not the one trying to hide anything.  I didn't lie to anyone
about what I am trying to do or who I am; AND, THIS STATEMENT:
"Who wants to pay $299 for the "privilege" of taking in these folks
discarded pets?!"  TELLS ME WHAT KIND OF PEOPLE THESE REALLY ARE ,...
AND THAT, MY NEW FML FRIEND, IS EXACTLY THE KIND OF PEOPLE THAT I WOULD
NOT SUBJECT MY FURRY FRIENDS TOO!
 
I appreciate all of the opinions and the kind offers to help and will
gladly consider all.  And, I am proud to consider myself a caring,
compassionate, loving person who will make absolutely sure that these
beloved pets are not discarded like yesterdays' trash.
