Attention all ferret lovers in the DFW area!!!
 
There is a crisis in Plano with the legalization status of ferrets.  Animal
control has decided to come down on some of us who have ferrets and making
things very unpleasant.  There have been threats of euthanasia, search
warrants and citations.
 
Patty Israelson (Beggars & Thieves Ferret Shelter) is setting up a meeting
at her home this coming Wednesday, the 24'th of April at 7 p.m. to discuss
these issues. All interested parties are invited. Please attend!

I need any tips or information anyone has had in these sorts of issues in
other areas.  What is the best approach to deal with this situation?
