Hi everyone. I am new to this list and I have read the last few posts.
Many seemed to pertain to ferret sneezing problems. I have 2 ferrets, a
spayed, 6 mnth old sable and white female, named Sable, and a neutered,
5mnth old male silver whitefoot, named Fidget. When I brought my male home
he seemed to be fine, but soon he developed a sneezing problem like you have
all descibed. I talked to my vet, and he recommended bringing my ferret in
with me when I took a shower in the morning. He said Fidget did not need to
even be under the water, but being in the steamy bathroom once or twice a
week would help the problem. I started taking him in with me, usually
twice a week, and at the beginning every day, and the problem cleared up.
He seemed to almost never sneeze, it was such a change. I thought some of
you would like to know this, and hopefully it will work for you like it did
for me.
Good Luck. Beth, Sable & Fidget
