Hello I am a Ferret breeder and between my partner and I and friends who
breed we have over 900 female breeders which range from pet quality Ferrets
to Show Quality Ferrets.Wa also have the famous Black Ferret which is all
black even the skin.(These Ferrets came directly from Egypt and took three
years to get and coosted a thousand dolars a piece.)This is why Ferrets are
called Exotics there are so many colors 38 to be exact and so many
differrent breeds that have fitch and marten bred in them to get the angura
fur quality out.You have a standered ferret called a whipet which has a long
slender face that is very small and then you have the bulldog which is a big
pug face that looks like it was pushed in at the nose and the body is
Larger.You also have the Demigigus which is the largest of the ferret family
that gets between 5 to 8 pounds some bigger at times.Here are some colors

it is cruel and does not change the smell 3 out of ten ferrets from the
major farm stores are not desented and you wont know it unless you step on
them or scare them or they get into a fight belive me I had 15 running
around my house for two years when I first got started and know one could
tell which was or wasn't descented.Now if they are not neutered or spayed
they excrete an oil substance that makes them smell but if bathed like a dog
is you have no problems.The Ferrets that are neutered and or spayed still
let out some oil(this can be seen as a yellow color in there fur),but there
is shampoo made just for that.Dont but high priced food for your ferrets I
pay $18.00 for a 50 pnd bag and they love it, all the farms I know of around
the world feed it and there ferrets live longer than any pet store ferret on
vitamins, diets etc etc.....The only natural food suplement I have ever used
and dont often because its over $3.00 a pnd but my ferrets love it and it is
called nupro and I can get it for you or I can have them send you
literature.So dont spend 12 to 20 dollars for food.And take it from
Europe(who made it illegal to do so)dont descent your Ferrets this will
